About Us

Code for Afrika e.V. is a non-profit organisation that promotes tech education and entrepreneurship in Germany and Africa. The main goal of the organisation is to offer people the opportunity to build capacity that will help them to create new ventures to serve as a source of employment for themselves and others.

The organisation seeks to empower people to become independent and promote tech education and entrepreneurial awareness among African diaspora living in Germany, Germans and people in Africa. Through these engagements, entrepreneurs from Germany can learn from Africans and vice versa – a platform for knowledge exchange. The organisation partners with German start-ups and supports the promotion of their products in Africa. Furthermore, it promotes networks between German and African initiatives to encourage information sharing for sustainable development.
